    The 6BM8 ECL82 was commonly used in early Hi-Fi amps and early guitar amps.  The valves are Russian and branded Electro Harmonix EH 6BM8.  The British number for this same valve is the ECL82.

    The Electro-Harmonix  EH 12BH7 is a double triode and is pin compatible with the 12AX7.  The first 12BH7 triode appeared fro Mullard in 1950. This rich toned, dynamic version is certainly a good replacement for original 12BH7’s. It is manufactured in Russia  and is a very durable valve. It is fully tested by us and has a 120 day warranty.

    The Electro-Harmonix  EH EF86 is late entry into the valve market and was designed as a low noise pentode.   The first EF86’s arrived on the market in 1954 .     The Electro Harmonix 12DW7 triode is two triodes but one has a gain of 100 and the other half a gain of 20.
    Think of it as having one half of an ECC83  ( 12AX7) and and the other half from the ECC82 ( 12AU7). It is used in Peavey and Ampeg amps.

    The JJ 12AY7 is a brand new pre-amp valve introduced by JJ Electronic in June 2015. The 12AY7 is also known as the 6072A. It was used in a number of early Fender Tweed amps in the first pre-amp stage. .  It is a medium gain double triode pre-amp valve.     The EF806S Audio Pentode  from JJ Electronic is a brand new replacement for the famous EF86  from the 1950’s and 1960’s. The US number for the EF806S Audio Pentode is 6291.  This is  a very high gain pentode and has a unique sound when overdriven.
