Our Tung Sol Valve Kit 2x 12AX7 2x 6L6GC-STR is a replacement valve kit using Tung Sol valves.. Tung Sol valves are used by boutique amp manufacturers due to the rich tonal range
The kit consists of
- Two matched Tung Sol 6L6GC-STR
- Two Tung Sol 12AX7 ( ECC83)
This upgrade valve kit contains top quality Tung Sol Russian valves. The 6L6GC -STR is a faithful reproduction of the ( Special Tube Request) valves used by the famous American amp manufacturers back in 1960’s. We have selected these valves following excellent feedback from our customers.
We have hand tested this kit for you on our range of AVO testers
The output valves are matched and supplied with a test certificate
Please make sure the bias is set up correctly. If not, you could damage or limit the life of the output valves.
If you are not qualified to work with high voltages, please talk to an amp tech who can fit your new valves.
Your valves have a 180 day warranty.
