We have been working to make it easier to find products in our shop. We have increased our product a lot over the past year and I was finding it difficult enough to find products on our website, so I am sure it was harder for you !
We have made a number of improvements. If you click on the categories picture on the front page, this opens up a set of selections. Here is a picture of the box on the front page:-
On the left hand side of the page that is opened, you can see the categories.. The main types of valves are listed.
You can also go and browse in the different categories by clicking on any of the pictures.
On some some of the groups there is a little “+” and clicking on this symbol expands the group to give options to narrow down what you are looking for
Pre-amp valves are now grouped by manufacturer.
The pre-amp and output valve kits are now listed using the output valve types. For example if your amp uses EL84’s output valves then head straight to the El84’s section and you will find all the kits which use EL84’s
The output valves section now allows you to search by valve make or whether you are looking for a single valve or pairs or quads.
Of course at the top of the page, there is the ability to search for valve kits by amp make and model. Just click in the “Amp Make” box and select your amp manufacturer. Then select the amp model from the amp list. The picture below highlights th banner across the top of the page
Here you can see I have typed in “Engl” and the drop down menu shows the current amp kits available
It is impossible to have every amp ever made in this list, however, now that we have sorted the stuff above, we are now expanding the number of Amp makes and Models, This will be a never ending job ! Now that we sorted out the search stuff we have a number of new amp models to add. This will be done over the next week or so.
Please let us know what you think on these upgrades. Your suggestions are alway welcome. We have worked hard to maintain accuracy but we know we are not perfect. Let us know if there is information that needs updated.
Cheers for now
