Fender Deluxe Reverb Silverface Vintage and re-Issue Valve kit
Nothing makes your Fender Deluxe Reverb Siverface sound like new than a complete new set of valve/tubes for your amp. This kit replicates exactly the types that fitted to the original amps when they were manufactured
This kit is specially chosen to provide a rich warm tone and absolute minimal microphonics. This kit has been assembled following feedback from customers on how impressed they are with the rich warm tone of their amp.
The kit is designed for the Fender Deluxe Reverb original Silverface and Blackface spanning the 1960’s and 1970’s .
We have carefully selected the following valves for this kit. If you look at the back of the amp V1 is on your left & V9 at the right of the amp. Here are the recommended positions for the valves in this kit. All will be labelled when you receive the kit so you know which is which.

Here are some notes on the valve types.
Tung Sol 12AT7W for the reverb drive circuit and again with low microphonics maintains a rich warm reverb sound. The W denotes ruggedised. This is the pre-amp valve that has the most load on it due to driving the reverb tank and the 12AT7W handles this with no issues.
The Tung Sol 12AT7W for the phase splitter and this is a matched / balanced
The Sovtek 12AX7WA ensures just the right amount of oscillation in the vibrato. It is a medium gain valve
Three EH 7025. This is a low Gm valve with very low microphonics and the lower gain of this valve ensures those silky smooth cleans for which the Deluxe reverb is renowned
Two Tung Sol 6V6GT matched output valves. he matched valves come with a certificate showing the results of matching for your valves. We do the matching /balancing on our vintage restored testers the way it was done back in the sixties.
A quality robust EH 5U4Gb rectifier which is proven to take punishment in the demanding application in a Deluxe Reverb
