These are original NOS Mazda EF86 valves in their original boxes. Sonically sweet and well made. Marked as “foreign” on the box and valve. Made in Russia and at least 30 years old.

We have fully tested each valve and give a 120 day warranty.

NOS Mazda EF86 valves in their original boxes. Harness the distinct sound of these high quality Russian valves. Made until the 1980s, they have a dimple on top of the glass characteristic of classic Russian valves. The box says “foreign,” as does the valve. These valves have a reputation for impressive tone and make a good upgrade for early Vox amps.

We test in-house for anode current and Gm (both shown on our stickers on the box)

We also carry good quality rectifiers and EL84s for your amp from Sovtek, JJ and Tung Sol.

These valves come with a 120 day warranty.

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
