Used in amps such as the Fender Champ and most of the early Fender Tweed style amps. Our Sovtek 5Y3GT Rectifier performs well in all amplifiers needing a 5Y3 type of rectifier.
It is worth replacing the rectifier, as they lose emission with age, resulting in reduced voltage. That adds up to lower volume and distortion of the undesirable variety. When replacing your output valves, we recommend replacing the rectifier valve as well. Then keep the old one as a spare.
