December Shipping info
Next day for shipping is Saturday morning 27th December. for orders received before 10.30am. Shipping as normal 29/30th December and up till 10.30am on 31st December. No dhipments on 1st January and then back to normal.
Deliveries usually take a day longer than normal in December. Here is a summary of the Royal Mail UK shipping services.
UK Services :
Royal Mail’s delivery aim is 1/2 working days for 24 hours tracked 2./3 working days for 48 hours tracked. They do not guarantee an exact day. Sunday is not counted as a working day.
If you want guaranteed delivery, then choose Royal Mail ” Special Delivery” as this is guaranteed on a working day before 1pm.
Saturday Special delivery has an extra cost. No Sunday delivery. Delivery is guaranteed by 1pm and needs to be signed for.
In December, the mail system sees a huge increase in demand and so you cannot rely on 24 hours tracked or 48 hours tracked orders to arrive one and two days respectively. It is worth noting that the Royal Mail online tracking service is slow to update and it may appear we have not shipped the item.
