Totally Tweed! The preferred OEM tube of  ’50s era Fender Tweed Champ and Deluxe amplifiers. Tung-sol 6V6GTs can safely handle the high voltages in guitar amps, and feature heavier plate and grid materials. The result? Better mids and bottom while keeping the smooth top of the classic 6V6s. The Tung-sol 6V6GT breaks up evenly from low E to high up the neck, providing consistent and reliable performance. Blues players LOVE these tubes for the way they sing! If you play a Fender Deluxe (Reverb), you owe it to yourself to load it with these fantastic valves.

Tung Sol valves are also vibration tested at the factory, so you know you’re getting a robust valve. Available here as singles, matched pairs, and matched quads.

We test and match all our valves at real amp voltages on our suite of vintage, modern, and custom-built valve testers. Includes a test certificate showing the valve test/match results.

Safety

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
