The Electro Harmonix EH 300B Gold is the premium 300B valve. This is the top-shelf version of the 300B EH with gold grid wire for increased bias stability and top of the line sonics.
The 300B entered the market in 1938. That it remains in production today is a testament to its superb quality.

The 300B EH’s plate curves and static DC characteristics (plate resistance, transconductance, mu) also exactly match the Western Electric originals for superior performance in any vintage or modern 300B amplifier.
These valves are factory matched for mutual conductance and current, with their test values and results printed directly on each valve box (as you can see in the product photos).
