Because of its rugged construction and conservative ratings, it’s one of the most reliable current production EL84s available. Perfect for Vox AC-30 type amplifiers, and a wide range of others. In addition, its linearity and tonal characteristics make it an ideal replacement for EL84s in hi-fi amplifiers, such as those built by Fisher, Scott, and Harmon-Kardon. Many amp companies rebrand these valves and sell them as their own.
The factory tests these valves to the US Dept of Defense Mil Std 133 Revision D. We then retest all the valves in-house at real amp voltages on our custom-built valve tester and lso audio test for noise and microphonics.
