This fully tested kit contains four JJ ECC83S (12AX7), and four EL34 II valves. All 4 EL34 IIs hand-selected and tested in-house to ensure you receive the best quality possible. One ECC83 matched/balanced for driving the EL34s.
Note that our JJ EL34 kits use the much improved JJ EL34II. It has vastly richer mid tones than the cheaper JJ EL34. The standard JJ EL34 has a reputation for sounding thin and JJ made the EL34 II to address this tone issue.
Kit comes with a test certificate. We test the valves on our suite of Maxi Matcher and custom-built preamp valve testers.
