JJ ECC99 (6N6P)

The JJ ECC99 (6N6P) valve is a double triode designed for preamp circuits and phase splitter applications. Some practice amps even use them in the output stage. And some hi-fi amps use ECC99s to drive 2A3 and 300B output valves.

We test each valve at real amp voltages on our suite of vintage, modern, and custom-built valve testers, including a digital unit which checks over 20 parameters to ensure maximum quality. You can’t buy a better tested or more reliable valve.

★ Safety

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
