A brand new valve type from the highly respected JJ Electronic factory in Slovakia. The JJ electronic 12BH7-A is a low-noise version of the 12BH7 double-triode, and is pin compatible with any 12AX7. The first 12BH7 triode appeared from Mullard in 1950, and this new design faithful reproduces the original. Fully tested in-house here at VTGA.

JJ Electronic first introduced the 12BH7A valve in September 2016 as a low-noise version of the 12BH7. The 12BH7-A is a double-triode, pin compatible with 12AX7/ECC83 valves. The first 12BH7 double-triode appeared from Mullard in 1950, and this new design faithful reproduces the original. Full of rich tone and excellent dynamics, the JJ 12BH7A is an excellent replacement for vintage or modern 12BH7s. You’ll find this valve in amps from Peavey, Orange, and more.

We have premium tested your 12BH7-A tube on our custom tester. In addition to measuring the usual volts etc we listen to the valve for noise and microphonics.

★ Safety

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
