We have created this kit for Marshall JTM45 amps using 5881 valves, as that was the classic fit of output valves for to these amps.

All valves in this kit are hand-tested and matched on our AVO and custom-built testers to ensure maximum quality. The 12AX7s are audio tested too.

Kit Includes

  • 3x Tung Sol 12AX7s tested in-house
  • 1x Tung Sol 12AX7s with one specially selected for the phase splitter position
  • 2x Tung Sol 5881 matched and tested on our Maxi-Matcher at 400 volts
  • 1x JJ GZ34S rectifier, also tested in-house

Tung Sol manufactures their valves in Russia to the highest standards under the US Dept. of Defense Military Standard 213 Revision D. (Yes, the USA military still uses valves and keeps their test specifications up to date!)

We include the JJ Electronic Gz34S since Tung Sol doesn’t make rectifiers. This is a proven product made in Slovakia.

★ Safety

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
