Sovtek 12AX7WA
The Sovtek 12AX7WA is world-renowned for its smooth, round tone. This ultra “low microphonic” tube is used by Fender®, Ampeg, Carvin, and Hartke, among others. It can effortless replace the ECC83. The to key features are that the valve is ruggedised and it is a medium gain valve
The 12AX7WA has lower gain than the “WC” version. The 12AX7WA is designed for amps with DC heaters so should not be used in amps with AC heaters as there is the probability of increased hum in AC heater applications
