Our Russian-made Sovtek EL84M Matched Quad offers more headroom, more power, and longer valve life than standard EL84s!

If you want pristine cleans from the power section of your amp, the Sovtek EL84M series is a splendid choice. They’re also the best choice for hi-fi amps because of their low distortion. The “M” standards for military grade, boasting robust internal construction, longer life, and a better ability to withstand shocks and bumps. This also makes them better able to withstand the high voltages and power dissipation found in hi-fi and instrument amps.

We test these valves at real amp voltages on our suite of vintage, modern, and custom-built valve testers. Includes a test certificate showing the valve test results. A quality replacement for RCA 7189 and EL84 valves.

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
