I had a few issues, but I was still able to use 6L6 valves:
1. The valves are taller than the old RCA ones that were replaced.
2. The red base is a smaller diameter than the old RCA ones. This makes the retaining clips much less effective.
3. The matching wasn’t great. With 470V B+ and 470R screen grid resistors, there was about 10% difference in the anode plate (anode) current.
4. The valves have much lower plate current than the RCA ones. The plate power dissipation was near 40% (12W) causing severe crossover distortion before clipping. I had to add a resistor in the bias circuit to reduce the -ve bias voltage so that the plate power dissipation is near 60% (18W) for each valve.
The Fender Bassman 50 Head amplifier is now working well. Note: This amplifier only has a bias share adjustment, there is no adjustment for the overall bias voltage up and down.
It would be helpful if your website provided data sheets for the valves. Dimensions for the base and the glass tube would be very useful. I’ve had problems in the past with JJ valves being too tall, I didn’t know other manufacturers make them taller. Some Fender amplifiers have a metal guard over the output valves, where this becomes an issue. I hope this feedback is useful.
