This kit is all-Russian with quality valves tested to the USA Dept. of Defense Standard Mil 133 Revision (the latest spec). The kit contains two Sovtek 12AX7WA valves and a Sovtek EL84. We fully test these valves in-house on AVO and custom-built testers at voltages seen in your amp to ensure you receive the best possible quality.
The Sovtek 12AX7WA is a medium-gain valve boasting ultra-low microphonics. It imbues a rich tone great for rock with just the right amount of amp distortion. Many amp builders demand Russian valves for their superb reliability and sound.
