I needed a gain balanced pair of ECC99s, and although reluctant at first, Stewart went above and beyond my expectations and tested a bunch to get a matched pair that sound amazing. Cannot recommend more highly for customer service and feedback and a great pair of tubes. 11/10
I needed a matched pair of EL34s for my Marshall amp in a hurray. I had managed to break one of the valves in the amp while upgrading the speaker. Stewart sorted me out quickly and with no hassle. Highly recommend with great communication and a swift service.
Nothing wrong with these capacitors, except that they are physically too big to replace the 3 original nodal ones in a Blues Junior. ( My fault entirely for not checking sizes before buying.) You can fit the two outside ones, but the middle one will only then fit if you stack it on top of the other two. It will work but it is not ideal and not pretty.
I have used JJ valves in many amps including Blues Juniors. I have bought from Valve Tube Guitar Amps since i first heard of them. I have never had any problems with either the valves, the service or the delivery.
