A fully tested revalve kit for 45-50 watt amplifiers, including Marshall and Laney. Contains three ECC83S (12AX7) and two EL34 II valves. The JJ EL34 II has richer midtones than the original JJ EL34. Output valves and phase splitter hand-matched in-house at real amp voltages and audio-tested.

We test each valve at real amp voltages on our suite of vintage, modern, and custom-built valve testers. We also audio-check your valves.

Our JJ EL34 kits use the much improved JJ EL34 II. It has vastly richer midtones than the cheaper JJ EL34. The standard JJ EL34 has a reputation for sounding thin, so JJ made the EL34 II to address this tone issue. Get the sound you deserve!

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
