This kit contains three Sovtek 12AX7WAs and two matched Sovtek EL84s. These are the exact valves Fender used in their Blues Jr models, just rebranded as Groove Tubes. Save money and buy the originals. With this kit, your Blues Jr will sound exactly as Fender intended when it left the factory.

We carefully match our tubes using AVO and custom-built testers. You will receive a test certificate showing the matching info.

Our Fender Blues Junior valve kit uses exactly the same valves as originally fitted to these classic amps. The kit contains three Sovtek 12AX7WAs and two matched Sovtek EL84s. Fender designed the Blues Jr to use medium gain Soviet 12AX7WA valves.

We carefully match the EL84 output valves and specially select a balanced 12AX7WA for the phase splitter. You will receive a test certificate showing the matching info.

Sovtek manufactures their valves in the world’s largest remaining valve factory. Many amp manufacturers favour Sovtek valves for their superb tone and reliability. The factory tests their valves under US Dept of Defense Mil Std 133 Revision D. We then retest each valve here at VTGA on our suite of AVO and custom-built testers. You can’t buy a better tested or more reliable valve.

★ Safety

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
