The Original Genalex Gold Lion ECC83/B759 tubes, with their gold-plated pins, stand among the best 12AX7 valves ever made. Though rare and expensive, their large, detailed soundstage makes them a top choice among discerning audiophiles who demand the highest quality sound. This ECC83/B759 from Genalex recreates the sound signature and quality of the original.

Note that the heaters in these valves are almost completely encased in the anode (plate) structure. As a result, they don’t “light up” brightly, even when working properly. This is deliberate and not a fault.

Pins are gold plated.

We test every unit on our AVO and custom-built testers at real amp voltages to ensure you receive the best product possible. We also test for noise and microphonics in a circuit which emulates the V1 position in an amp.

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
