The Russian NOS EL84 has been in production since the 1960s under the original Russian designation 6P14P. Originally designed for military applications, the EL84 stands among the highest quality valves ever made.

The Russian NOS EL84 was born in the 1960s as the 6P14P in the Saratov plant and designed for use in military vehicles and equipment. Today, this tube is better known as the Sovtek EL84 / 6BQ5 which is the identical, current-production version of this valve. The original military 6P14P valve was made to the highest standards, with tight limits in quality spread. Consequently, we provide you with this original mil. grade 6P14P only.
Please note that the marking on the original tube says 6P14P while the Sovtek version says “EL84 / 6BQ5”. It has all the same sound qualities as the Sovtek EL84.
Includes a 120 day from receipt warranty (excluding user-caused mechanical damage) for peace of mind.

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
