The Sovtek 6550WE Matched sets are factory matched and further tested and refined in-house here at VTGA on our in house testers.. Manufactured by Sovtek in the Russian Federation.

This is a ruggedised valve and has vertical bars and much larger mica grips to ensure mechanical stability and long life

Sovtek’s sturdy 6550WEs feature metal bases that help dissipate the heat generated by these high-power valves, improving their lifespan and reliability compared to resin base valves from other manufacturers.

Fully tested in-house at real amp voltages on our suite of AVO and custom-built testers. Test certificate included with each set.

This is one big bottle packing a lot of output power!! Each valve can handle 40 watts in single-ended mode applications and the matched quad can provide over 200 watts in push-pull mode.

Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
