With valves/tubes becoming scarce and expensive, it makes sense to replace your valve rectifier with a solid state rectifier. Just remove the existing rectifier and plug this guy into the socket.
Many amps are hard on their rectifiers, for example vintage VOx AC30s. So it makes good sense to replace the GZ34 with this much more reliable and durable sold state rectifier. Manufactured in Germany.

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
