Our Tung Sol 6L6GC STR Single Valve is a clone of the legendary Philips 6L6GC-STR, delivering the ultimate tone and smooth overdrive. “STR” means “Special Tube Request”, made to the specifications of the amp manufacturers who first requested their production in the 1960s. This is the valve they wanted in their amps.

We test each valve at real amp voltages on our suite of vintage, modern, and custom-built valve testers. Includes test results written on the box.
