The Tung Sol 6L6GC-STR is a clone of the legendary Philips 6L6GC-STR and delivers the ultimate in musical tone and smooth overdrive. The STR stands for “Special Tube Request,” meaning it matches the specifications of amp manufacturers which requested the original, audio-grade STR valves in the 1960s. This is the valve they wanted in their amps. The crème de la crème of 6L6s. Our customers love how these sound.

Manufactured in Russia and matched at the factory. We then verify in-house that’re a good match using our digital output valve tester. We test at real amp voltages. Pairs and quads have a test certificate with the test results. These valves are also vibration tested at the factory.

★ Safety

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
