The JJ EF806S valve is a brand new replacement for the famous EF86 from the 1950s and ’60s. JJ Electronic designed the EF806S as a low noise, low microphonics version of the original EF86. The US number for the EF806S Audio Pentode is 6291.

Sovtek 12AX7LPS is a long plated version of the 12AX7/ECC83, favoured by many amp manufacturers for its smooth, rich tone. Not recommended for the V1 position in combo amps because long plate 12AX7/ECC83S types are more prone to microphonics. We also have a balanced option for phase splitter applications. Tested in-house.

The Russian-made Sovtek 12AX7WA is world-renowned for its smooth, round tone. This ultra “low microphonic” tube ships stock in amps from Fender, Ampeg, Carvin, and Hartke, among others. It can replace the ECC83.
