Sovtek 12AX7LPS is a long plated version of the 12AX7 ECC83 and is favoured by a number of amp manufacturers for their smooth rich tone. Not recommended for the V1 position in combo amps because long plate 12AX7/ECC83S types tend to be more microphonic. We also have balanced option for phase splitter applications. Audio tested.

The Sovtek 12AX7WB has more gain and saturation than our WA. Its warmer, darker sound is preferred by Rivera, VHT, Demeter, and Kendrick, among other leading amp manufacturers. It can effortless replace the ECC83. We have fully tested each valve for you and give a 120 day warranty.
