JJ EL84 valves appear in famous amps such as the Fender Blues Jr., Peavey Classic 30, Mesa Vox AC15 and Vox AC30 and many more. In the USA, the same tube is called the 6BQ5. The JJ is a bright sounding valve, excellent for players that like “clean” along with that vibrant sound so reminiscent of the ’60s. It’s also a great value for money and made in the EU.

We match your JJ EL84s at real amp voltages and record the anode current and Gm directly on the box. We test using our new Maxi match output tube tester for the best matching in real amp conditions.

You can select the following options at check out:

In all options, we label the anode current and Gm on each valve.

Single Valve: Fully tested in-house

Matched Pair: Tested/matched in-house and comes with a test certificate

Matched Quad: Tested/matched in-house and comes with a test certificate

Safety

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
