JJ EL84 Singles, Matched Pairs, and Quads – All Premium Tested

JJ EL84 valves appear in famous amps such as the Fender Blues Jr., Peavey Classic 30, Vox AC15 and AC30, and many more. In the USA, the same tube is called the 6BQ5. The JJ is a bright sounding valve, excellent for players that like “clean” along with that vibrant sound so reminiscent of the ’60s. It’s also great value for money and made in the EU.

We match your JJ EL84s at 340 volts and record the anode current and Gm directly on each valve box, and record test conditions and results on a test certificate included with your order. We test using our new custom power output tube tester for the best matching in real amp conditions. This includes testing the valves for audio noise and microphonics.
