This Superior Blackstar HT1 Valve Kit contains one low microphonics Sovtek 12AX7WC and one EH 12AU7. Russian-made valves. The W indicates ruggedised, making this a great, long-lasting pair of valves. We’ve had excellent feedback on this kit, as it really brings this little amp alive with rich tones.

In addition to standard factory testing, these valves come fully tested in-house by VTGA on our suite of AVO and custom-built testers to assure the highest possible quality. We test all valves at real voltages found in your amp for valve generated noise, microphonics, and more.

Please make sure your amp's bias is set correctly. If not, you could hamper your tone and even limit the life of the output valves. Also note that valve amps can retain high voltages even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting your valves, please seek the services of qualified personnel.
