Our Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Valve Kit Tung Sol 3x 12AX7 2x 6L6GC -STR t is a replacement kit using high quality Tung Sol valves.. Tung Sol valves are used by boutique amp manufacturers due to the rich tonal range
The kit consists of
- Two matched Tung Sol 6L6GC-STR. These are matched at real voltages as found in your amp
- Three Tung Sol 12AX7 ( ECC83) one of which balanced and matched for the phase splitter position
This upgrade valve kit contains top quality Tung Sol Russian valves. The 6L6GC -STR is a faithful reproduction of the ( Special Tube Request) valves used by the famous American amp manufacturers back in 1960’s. We have selected these valves following excellent feedback from our customers.
We have hand tested this kit for you on our range of AVO testers
The output valves are matched and supplied with a test certificate
Please make sure the bias is set up correctly. If not, you could damage or limit the life of the output valves.
If you are not qualified to work with high voltages, please talk to an amp tech who can fit your new valves.
